There’s a touch of Badis (pronounced "Bad-iss"), my late Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, in everything I do. Our walks, the funny memories (like the time he pulled me out of a caravan into a pile of mud!), and his eager trips to meet me at the school gate shaped my childhood.

Badis showed me the beauty in small, in-between moments. The joy in life’s simplest pleasures. The gentle passage of time when surrounded by love, family, and contentment.

From childhood into adulthood, Badis quietly taught me these truths. Though he’s now resting, his kind soul and unwavering friendship continue to guide and inspire everything I do.
