WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER KENT: YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve answered some of the most common questions about photography here, and a little further down, you’ll find more FAQs on my content creation services. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – I’m always happy to help!
-
Sorry, no! While I celebrate all couples and their weddings, I kindly decline church weddings due to my technical expertise and style limitations. You deserve a photographer who can fully capture the beauty of your church ceremony, so I avoid taking on projects where I can’t deliver my best. If it helps, I’d be more than happy to recommend another amazing wedding photographer in the area.
-
While I’m not taking 2027 bookings just yet, I’d still love to hear from you! Simply share your wedding date here, and I’ll add you to my waiting list. You’ll be the first to know as soon as my 2027 & beyond diary opens.
-
A £100 non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your wedding date. This retainer covers the work I do leading up to your wedding. The remainder of your balance is due two weeks before your wedding.
-
I always opt for quality over quantity, but I will choose the best and most meaningful images to tell your story. I also do not provide RAW files as they do not accurately represent my full work, so please refrain from requesting “all” of the day’s photographs - there are many reasons a photo doesn't make the final gallery.
-
Your images will be ready 6 to 8 weeks after the wedding. However, I do always aim to deliver them sooner than this if possible.
-
Yes, absolutely! Once the non-refundable retainer is paid and the contract is signed, we can discuss payment options and find the best plan for you.
-
Yes, absolutely! If you would like me to photograph your wedding, and your venue is outside of Kent, please get in touch for a custom travel quote.

Yeah, absolutely! You can change your package up to 2 weeks before the wedding.
-
Unfortunately, the complimentary engagement session can’t be exchanged, substituted, or refunded, and I’m unable to offer a discount if it’s not used.
-
Typically your engagement shoot will take place at the beginning of the year you’re getting married.
-
The engagement shoot is a one-hour session at a location within a 25-mile radius of ME10. If your chosen spot is further afield, I’m happy to provide a quote for travel.
You’ll receive 2 digital downloads (yours to keep and use), with the option to purchase additional photos if you’d like.
-
Absolutely! Capturing those special moments before the ceremony is such a beautiful part of your day. That’s why my collections typically cover two locations. And, I’m always delighted to add a third (or more!) venue for a small fee of £30 per additional venue. Just let me know when booking, and we’ll confirm the details together.
-
Great question! Think of a wedding content creator as another guest — but one who is dedicated to quietly capturing your day (and all those beautiful in-between moments) on their iPhone. While they’re not a substitute for a professional photographer, they offer another beautiful perspective: raw, unfiltered moments — the knowing glances, the intimate laughter, the big bear hug between friends on the dance floor.
Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a collection of candid photos & short videos, perfect for sharing on social media and reliving all that love & joy...while you wait for your professional images. Plus, content creators help your guests stay present — giving them the freedom to leave their phones tucked away.

No, we don’t incorporate specific TikTok transitions or viral trends in the content. Our focus is on capturing genuine, natural moments from your wedding day. If you're specifically looking for content with trendy transitions or effects, we’d recommend hiring a content creator who specialises in that style.
-
No, content creation does not replace traditional videography. While I capture real-time moments and short clips for social media, I do not provide the same comprehensive coverage or storytelling that a professional videographer offers. If you’re looking for a complete wedding video, we would recommend hiring a dedicated videographer.
-
Yes absolutely! As long as the retainer has been paid and contract has been signed, we can then discuss payment terms and decide the best steps forward.
